The electronic circuits are spread in modern car (for example electronic injection) and are very important for the security of men (ABS etc.). Thus it is important to project them correctly. In particular it is important to avoid bad working due to electromagnetic interferences. In this paper the authors present a simulation of the electromagnetic fields induced in a car radiated by a log periodic antenna. The set up is the typical one used during the radiated susceptivity measurement on a car with anechoic chambers. The simulation has been made with the FDTD technique (Finite Difference approximation to the Time Domain), that solves numerically the Maxwell equation. The simulation results are confirmed by measurements taken in the anechoic chamber of Elasis center.
