In this article two methods - Gumbel distribution and multi-regression were used to analyse the corrosion data on four different aircraft structures of a model of airplane. The analyzed result shows that the locally corroded depth on the said structures is basically in conformity with the Gumbel distribution. Corrosion depth on some structures can be analysed by establishing the mathematical models based on the multi-regression method. When the Gumbel distribution is used, both the maximum corrosion depth and the probability of excessive corrosion of a fleet can be estimated, and under certain given conditions multi-regression can be used to predict the corrosion depth.
