An experimental autonomous mobile vehicle should move in the partially known environment. It is necessary to guide the vehicle from the start point to goal point without colliding with any obstacles in this environment. The method of the potential field was applied for this aim. The paper presents our modification of the implicit potential field method for mobile vehicle path planning and using informations from the range finder for the generation of its collision-free path. Some simulation results are also added.
