The electric vehicles have already been placed on the market. For more wide use of electric vehicles they have to be as economical, convenient and comfortable as current gasoline vehicles. The same things are required for heating and air conditioning systems. The dehumidifying-type heat pump system we have developed satisfies these requirements. To provide quick heating performance at the initial warm-up stage, the system operates on the inside air recirculation mode, and as room temperature increases, more refrigerant is provided to the evaporator in the passenger room to increase the dehumidifying function. The system is power-saving and provides good de-misting and de-frosting performance.
