In this article, a propeller wing mechanism has been proposed for a V.T.O.L. (Vertical Take Off and Landing) type of flight vehicle. A brief review has been presented to prepare a background for the material, and the importance of propeller wings for surveillance aircraft has been emphasised. Then, kinematic analysis of the propeller wing mechanism has been caried out and the speed profile for the wing tip has been calculated. It has been shown that the proposed propeller wing mechanism is compact in actuation, reliable and has a wide working envelope.
