Cold forming suppliers who support the automotive industry with fastener and cold formed products are confronting a very competitive market. The main issues are product quality, manufacturing flexibility and manufacturing costs. In order to maintain a position of market leadership, a combination of modern production systems with an integrated production technology derived from current state of the art operations is necessary. Concepts for the improving of the cold forming process: By converting current turning, stamping and cutting operations to cold forging processes, raw material content and machine cycle times can be substantially reduced. NET-shape production of special products with tight tolerances on configuration, dimensions and surface finish. Improve mechanical properties through cold forging processes which result in continuous material grain flow and material work hardening. Increase productivity of all parts, including more complex product lines. Reduce the cost of manufacturing by increasing productivity and thereby reducing the labor content.
