This paper reports on how to control the test conditions of the vehicle accelerated testing by comparing the similarity of the load power spectra of vehicles structural components gathered respectively from the vehicle running on the test tracks and publicways. The terms of the similarity were derived from a multi-input and multi-output model and verified by a series of testings. The effects of the test conditions on the similarity and the acceleration factor were investigated and analysed. Then, a kind of ideal test tracks, which is similar to the publicways in the road profile power spectra but not over-rough than that being used now, and on which the testing vehicles could run at the normal speeds as in using service, is proposed for vehicle accelerated testing, and so, not only an acceptable acceleration factor could be obtained, but also the correlation between the accelerated test and the using service could be ensured.
