Numerical results of the industrial press forming process simulation using FEM code ITAS3D, for the multi-operation process are presented. The analyzed automotive sheet panel forming process consists of three operations: stamping, trimming and flanging. The shape of sheet is calculated with a great accuracy taking into account springback after each individual operation. The initiation and growth of wrinkles and dents on sheet surface are traced. The final shape of a panel obtained by numerical simulation is compared with a real one and satisfactory agreement is observed. General description of ITAS3D code is given. Numerical aspects of trimming and springback processes simulation are discussed.
