Computer simulation in injection molding and this experiment show that the polymer melt flow causes the viscous heating in the filling stage in some particular molded parts shapes. The rise of resin temperature caused by the viscous heating has great influence on the surface deflection of molded parts. It was also found that the holding pressure has great influence on the surface deflection.
