A prototype of an active cab suspension has been realized and successfully tested. Especially in the frequency range around 2 Hz a marked reduction of cab vibrations has been achieved. Pre-investigations leading to a specification book, hard- and software presently used are described. Further efforts are necessary to improve the pitch and roll behaviour and achieve a good control performance up to 10 Hz.
