This article high lights major advances in the formulation and bonding capability of adhesives based on modified acrylic technology, including improvements evolved to address fastening challenges presented by the revolutionary changes in materials technology in all industries, especially automotive. The methacrylate adhesives described here are bringing benefits not only to the thermoplastic fabricators who require them, but also to fabricators using thermosets, metals and combinations of these materials.
