To prove the excellent static and fatigue properties of ARALL Laminate a realistic structural components in the form of a wing panel of a medium size aircraft was designed and tested. The design procedure will be presented with special emphasis on the extensive finite element global and detail analysis of the complicated layered composite structure. Because of its interactive modeling and composite material capabilities the finite element code GIFTS was used for this purpose.
