This paper discusses a technique of design for a Flywheel-CVT-transmission system to drive an industrial forklift. The design procedure is general and can be applied to automobiles or trucks. Component systems characteristics necessary to perform the design task are presented and discussed. Results show the advantage of this system for industrial, miltitary and food processing industries.
