A good maintenance program is the effective implementation of specific maintenance procedures on a well defined schedule and requires the coordinated efforts of several organizations. Once a maintenance philosophy has been defined and goals established, training, quality control, failure analysis and management support are all required to bring the procedures together into a total gas plant maintenance program. The benefits realized will be reduced operating expenses and increased equipment availability resulting in increased profits. This paper will describe how such a program was successfully implemented at the Coyanosa Gas Plant Complex at Coyanosa, Texas.
