Geometry processing is the extraction of geometric features from an already constructed curve or surface. Four examples of geometry processing, and new algorithms for their calculation, are presented: curve smoothing, surface/surface intersection, offset surfaces, and mass properties. The fourth topic is discussed in detail, including the use of adaptive numerical integration rules and computer graphics to develop a new algorithm for practical problems.
