This paper presents a description of the development of a full-scale filament wound aircraft fuselage shell. Included is a description of the structural details such as floor reinforcements, window reinforcements, and ring frames. The contributions of several sub-components of constant diameter are presented, in tooling development, process development, and to the structural design of the shell.
