A series of chemical equilibrium, chemical nonequilibrium and thermal nonequilibrium calculations are performed for various chemical processes related to a Single Stage To Orbit Hydrogen Fueled Airbreathing Hypersonic Vehicle (SSTOHFAHV). The processes include air dissociation downstream of a normal shock, 60 and 30 degree oblique shocks and H2-air combustion. The calculations are applied to two typical SSTOHFAHV trajectories.
