The compressible Reynolds time averaged Navier-Stokes equations were used to obtain solutions for flows about two thick airfoil configurations which used blowing or suction for boundary layer control. The governing equations were written in conservation form for body fitted coordinate systems and solved using in Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) procedure. An algebraic eddy viscosity model was used to define the turbulent characteristics of the flow. Numerical results are compared to experimental data for the airfoil configuration which uses blowing to control the boundary layer. Excellent agreement with the experimental results was obtained.
