The topical problem of design of multifunctional multivariable control systems for the complex technical objects operating in the conditions of strong interaction of their controlled coordinates and changing their number is investigated. The approach proposed to its solving is reduced to the choice and coordination of desired dynamic characteristics of control system and its separate subsystems at the given set of operation modes. The formalized procedure of multifunctional control systems design taking into account of cross-links between separate subsystems and requirements to these subsystems, is discussed. An example of the design of a multifunctional control system for the gas-turbine engine of a complex scheme is considered.
