Modern spacecraft platforms designed for defence or manufacturing systems will have high capacity power systems. Launch payload constraints coupled with the system capacity may produce appreciable electromechanical forces on current carrying conductors. These forces can result in structural damage or vibration. A method is presented to compute the force distribution and vibratory response for spacecraft transmission lines. Fourier series and finite-difference techniques are employed.
