It is considered that development of the space infrastructure in the near future will enable the satellite to provide orbital service. However, this service has various limitations of extension to the geostationary satellite because of high cost of transmission to the orbit. This paper describes several examples of the service satellite which will improve economic efficiency of the geostationary satellite, and reviews it effectiveness from the standpoint of satellite cost reduction, reliability improvement and maintenance of orbit resources.
