The subway facilities in Singapore (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit) consist of the South-North Line, the East-West Line, and their branch lines. The overall length is 67 km, and there are 42 railway stations and 12 on line and Depot substations respectively. The ratings and capacities of facilities, substation allocations, and other such essential factors have been investigated by calculations through AC/DC simulation study, which simulates the operation of actual trains. The author briefly describes the private system of AC 22 kV, the DC feeder system of 750 V DC, and the station power supply system of 415 V, together with the result of the DC short-circuit test carried out on the main track.
