Telemetry and telecommand functions on board a spacecraft are key subsystems that must exhibit exemplary performance, reliability and integrity. This paper reviews the operational experience gained in low Earth orbit with the telemetry and telecommand subsystems on board the UoSAT-1 spacecraft. The impact of that experience on the subsequent design and implementation of these subsystems for the UoSAT-2 spacecraft are discussed and the orbital performance described.
