A Small-Scale Vehicle (SSV) was developed for the purpose of assessing and training skills of disabled individuals who wish to become licensed to drive. The SSV is an electric golf car that has been modified to accept various types of adaptive driving controls. This vehicle allows the driving evaluator the opportunity to evaluate the client's performance in a dynamic situation. It allows the potential driver the opportunity to practice basic vehicle maneuvers in a safe, low-anxienty environment.
