The following work deals with the application of neural techniques to the identification and control of a non-linear dynamic system. The process to be controlled is the opening of a turbofan exhaust nozzle. It exhibits strong non-linearities and is difficult to modelize and control with classical methods. Here we use an approach inspired by the concepts of indirect adpative control. The main results showing the efficiency of this neural controller are given and discussed.
