Fiber optic sensors for current sensing can be used to troubleshoot RF susceptibility problems in sensitive systems applications. These sensors have been applied in ordnance/aircraft interface testing. By using very small sensors described in this paper it is possible to reliably measure RF currents in the 5 mA range.
