Since the early days of World War II and the development of the RADAR, Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) Systems, commonly called Jammers, capable of countering new radar advances have been quick to follow. Radar System designers must then continue to increase the effectiveness of the Radar's Electronic Counter Countermeasures (ECCM) capability. Cross Systems has been developing Radar and ECM Simulation systems to be used for the development, test, and evaluation of Radar and ECM Systems and for the training of Radar and ECM system users. This paper will address some of the specific applications of these ECM simulation systems, their capability and limitations.
