This paper has developed and simulated a new adaptive controller based closed-loop radar tracker. The OBA signals from a monopulse radar are considered as the output of an unknown time-varying nonlinear dynamic system. The controller must regulate the system by manipulating the dish rate-loop command signals. The controller effectively identifies locally the unknown nonlinear plant, which includes target behaviour as well as dish dynamics. The simulated results show excellent performance.
