1. 5:6 kWe space nuclear power system 'TOPAZ-2' with the lifetime not less than 3 years on the basis of single-cell TFE was developed and underwent ground verification. 'TOPAZ-2' NPS an be used as the source of electricity for communication and information satellites, arcjet propulsion units, Lunar and Mars bases. It can also operate combined with the Stirling engine. 2. Using the verificated designing desicions NPS 'TOPAZ-3' can be developed on the basis of 'TOPAZ-2' NPS to provide greater power levels. 3. To obtain greater specific parameters of NPS while improving multi-cell TFE we can start using these very TFE for NPS (NPS of 'TOPAZ-4' type). In accordance with the achieved parameters and number of TFE electrical power of NPS can be 30-60 kWe. To obtain 100-300 kWe we should develop fast reactors.
