The paper presents an electromagnetic device /so called 'levitator'/ for magnetic suspension of a ferromagnetic body. There is given an analysis of the electromagnetic effects. The simulation has been performed using IBM compatible personal computers. The simulation results can be useful for a further detailed analysis and synthesis of the LCR tuned circuit levitators.
