This paper defines the general multiple target tracking fusion tree framework useful in formulating alternative approaches. The role of multisensor integration in advanced avionics concepts is then described along with a sample fusion tree solution. Parallel implementation approaches to multi-sensor integration are presented. A massively parallel distributed processing architecture called an artificial neural system is described due to its potential to efficiently solve problems for which a solution methodology is not available, e.g., asset management.
