In this paper we will present the work done by Toyota Motor Europe and TMG Automotive in order to develop materials for a high-customizable interior model - Toyota Yaris Trend Edition. The development target was achieved using the digital printing process and the paper will focus on the usage of this technology for interior trim surface materials, namely instrument panels and head-rests. This model was the first-in-europe made with flexible polymeric foils that were digitally printed with the selected Toyota Design leading to "zero-tooling" necessary and the quickest time-to-market. Through joint development by Toyota Motor Europe with TMG and tier-1 we could successfully launch Toyota Yaris Trend Edition clearly showing EU sensory quality technologies innovation.
