An illumination apparatus is a device aimed to transform electric energy into luminous energy and to spatially distribute the generated light. This lighting distribution should be managed in a coherent and controlled way in order to obtain an illumination with the characteristics foreseen in the device design. Lighting luminaires are designed and realized to have minimum losses in the energetic transformation and to guarantee the maximum safety for the user.
