Operating strategies for mobile machines enable the optimized operation of different drive train modules. An intelligent operation strategy is able to improve the energy efficient usage of a mobile machine and / or affects the dynamic behavior of the machine in a positive way. The optimization goal is given by a cost functional, e. g., fuel consumption or area performance. The presented approach contains the application of a predictive operation strategy for mobile machines. A work task classification, a prediction and an operating strategy with optimization by Dynamic Programming are the three main modules of the system structure. Simulation results show exemplarily a tractor operation with front end loader with increased cycle efficiency.
