Construction of device for combined machining by cutting and surface plastic deformation is described. Many product variants in the automobile industry are equipped with hydrocylinders and pneumocylinders of different types and dimensions. The green bodies of these cylinders are manufactured by rolling in the normal case. Therefore they have excessive measures and tolerances for certain dimensions. So they must be pretreated by machining and plastic surface deforming in the form of a combined process. For this aim a production equipment is used that joins cutting with smoothing by rolling mill rolls. Developed has been a manufacturing equipment for the combined machining of hydro- and pneumocylinder rods in the form of a rotating cutting tool block.
