The torsional vibrations of an automobile diesel crankshaft and their relation with the vibration of a cylinder block are investigated experimentally. It is established, that appearance of vibrations is conditioned by torsional vibrations not only on a frequency of a resonant harmonic, but also on high-frequency spectrum components, which are caused by impacts in sliding bearings of a crankshaft.
