In order to improve driving safety, modern continuous braking systems have been a standard feature for trucks and coaches for many years. The most established system in this field is the secondary retarder, which is fitted to the majority of long-distance trucks and coaches. With the new Aquatarder SWR, the world's first Secondary Water Retarder, Voith responds to the increasing demands of vehicle manufacturers in terms of efficiency and ecocompatibility.
