CDSRail hat ein neues System zur Überwachung von Wechselstrom-Gleisstromkreisen entwickelt, von dem eine substanzielle Steigerung der Verfügbarkeit durch die Früherkennung von potenziellen Fehlern zu erwarten ist. Die Eliminierung von Schwierigkeiten bedingt durch Verdeckungseffekte von Traktionsinterferenzen erlaubt die Anwendung eines Gleichstrom-Gleisstromkreis-Models für Wechselstrom-Gleisstromkreise, was die Signalverarbeitung und -auswertung mittels eines zentralen Servers vereinfacht.

    CDSRail have developed a novel device for monitoring of AC track circuits which it is believed will bring about substantial increases in reliability by early detection of potential faults. The removal of the difficulties introduced by the masking effects of traction interference allows a standard DC track circuit asset model to be applied to AC track circuits, thereby simplifying signal processing and analysis at a central server.
