On the basis of fundamental studies of micro-alloying of high-strength, super-strength, and heat-resistant titanium alloys by the rare earth metals the (α + β)-alloys VT23-1, VT43-1, and β-alloy VT19-1 have been elaborated, and also pseudo-α-alloy VT38 has been obtained, which exceeds the β-21S alloy (USA production) in respect of mechanical, physical, and economic characteristics. Fundamental investigations of micro-alloying of high-strength (900-1300 MPa), super-strength (1300-1800 MPa) and heat resistant (until 600 °C) titanium alloys by rare earth metals are performed. The titanium alloys are used in the aeronautical engineering and space engineering.
