The measurement of operational parameters from different vehicle types is described with use of cRIO platform and PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). The cRIO is real-time and mobile platform which is characteristic by toughness, small-size, good performance and many different I/O (Input/Output) measurement hot-plug modules. The following parameters can be measured thanks to different I/O modules: in vehicle vibrations and acceleration, velocity, the RPM (Revolutions Per Minute), onboard voltage, temperature etc. The cRIO platform is whole autonomous, but for user input and output PDA connected by WLAN (Wireless LAN)/LAN (Local Area Network) interface is used. The PDA serves as a controlling console, but also shows the actually measured values.
