In the article a solution for the plain elasticity problem is found for a crack near curved surface. A non-traditional method is used which enables to obtain stress components and transferences in the analytical form. Derived are initial angles of a crack propagation and critical loads, which provocate spontaneous crack increase at the locality of projections or notches. The influence of the crack length, concentrator's form and crack orientation on ultimate load value is investigated.
