Most satellite systems for locating an aircraft use the measurement value of time difference of arrival (TDoA). However, when an emitter and receivers move simultaneously, the method with only TDoA measurement signal is not efficient for estimating the velocity of the emitter. To solve this problem, the authors use the FDoA signal which is the frequency difference by the Doppler shift. In this paper, the authors use two satellites which have a wireless receiver of embedded system to obtain signals of TDoA and FDoA. The precise positional estimation value is obtained using the AFKF algorithm which can resolve divergence problem of EKF algorithm in localization. Finally the authors demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm through some simulation results.
