This paper deals with dynamical behavior of a nonlinear suspension system. Nonlinear theories are used to find the condition of chaotic vibration in case of quarter car model excited by road profile. We investigated the strange chaotic attractor and its unstable periodic orbits for the system. Results show that there exists a chaos in the system for some parameter range. Finally we have proposed experimental method to investigate chaos in the vehicle suspension system and different methods to control the chaos.
