The reliability of electronic systems is a major constraint depending on electromagnetic interference levels. Vehicle builders are clearly concerned by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) studies and especially for electrical drive systems in which embedded power electronics converters are used and must thus be correctly designed. A global synthesis of differential and common mode disturbance sources of such equipments are pointed out in this article and models specific to motor drive systems are presented. The protocol of measurement of all common mode admittances of the motor and the common mode voltages of a buck and inverter is validated by the comparison of a calculated current and a measured current. The next part of this study consists in using this modeling in a time domain simulation as SPICE environment thanks to the equivalent circuit of the machine like that presented in this paper.
