This study concerns a cracked structure repaired by single and double patch. The innovative idea of this paper is to shine a light on the technique of single patch having two adhesive bands and focus its efficiency compared to the double patch technique. The stress intensity factor at the crack tip is computed for this repair configuration using the finite element method. Briefly, the understanding and mastering of the patch properties effects (thicknesses, shear modulus) can leads to the improvement of the repair performance.
