In this document, it will be discussed how software faults can be inadvertently introduced into applications which code is automatically generated from a design automation tool. The authors explain that these faults can be embedded into the model itself because of scaling, timing and data dictionary issues. Then, we introduce how an advanced static verification technique called Semantic Analysis can help locate and eliminate these errors from the generated code and the model itself.
