In this paper the design of an antenna for a signal identification system which works at 1.06GHz is presented. The system requires reduced dimensions because this antenna must be placed on an airplane. The structure is based on a multi-layer configuration with double stacked patch fed by a coaxial probe. Low-cost material has been used.
