A novel approach of extracting a true target component from radar superposing echoes on the premise of that a repeater jammer is detected, when radar is suffered from range false targets jamming, is presented based on multicomponent polynomial phase signals (mc-PPS's) modeling. For linear frequency modulation (LFM) waveform, the differences of the echoes' polynomial phase coefficients between a true target and a false target are analyzed first. Parameter estimation of the true target by using product high-order ambiguity function (PHAF) is described. After the desired parameters be estimated, the true target signal can be reconstructed. Validity of the method is verified by simulation results.
