A reliable and durable DC voltage-switching bridge based on integrated circuits is considered, for use in satellite control systems. The device is intended to control the exciting voltage at various two-output loads and may operate both in halfbridge mode, when a DC voltage of a single polarity is applied to the load, and in bridge mode, when a DC voltage of direct or inverse polarity is applied to the load. The DC bridge must also send telemetry signals regarding the actual state of the voltage at the two outputs of the device and its position with respect to the permissible limits to the satellite control signal. The device is usually intended for excitation of a load of power 50 W up to 75 W, which corresponds to a load current of 2 A to 3 A at a supply voltage at +27 V. It is shown that PR04 integrated circuits may be used to create a device that is small, light, and reliable. Tests confirm that the device meets all requirements and permits reliable and durable operation at a satellite.
