In the automotive industry, zinc is gaining increasing importance. By means of a zinc layer adapted to suit the actual strains which occur, hot-dip galvanized steel parts meet exacting demands for lightweight construction and long term corrosion protection. With high temperature galvanizing (HTV), Kreuztal-based Siegener Verzinkerei GmbH (SVG), a member of Siegener Verzinkerei Holding which is operating across Europe, have conceived an innovative method and developed it to the stage of industrial scale production.
